One online store, two different pricing perspectives
Private customers usually think in VAT-inclusive prices, while companies and resellers often work with net prices. PrestaShop displays either gross or net prices as the main price according to the customer group, which means that one group may still need to calculate the other amount manually.
The PrestaShop Gross and Net Price Display Module solves this by automatically adding the corresponding gross or net amount next to the main price already displayed by PrestaShop.
Always displays the right complementary price
- For customer groups using VAT-inclusive prices, the gross price remains the main price and the module displays the net price alongside it.
- For B2B groups using net prices, the net price remains the main price and the module displays the gross price alongside it.
The module automatically follows the price display setting of the current customer group. There are no separate rules or prices to configure for individual products.

Where is the complementary price displayed?
Price display can be enabled separately in two areas:
- On the product page, next to the main product price;
- In product listings and product cards, including category pages, homepage product blocks, search results and related products.
You can therefore display the additional price only on product pages, only in product listings, or in both areas.
Automatically avoids unnecessary duplicate prices
The module does not display a second price when it would provide no additional information:
- when a 0% tax rate applies and the gross and net prices are identical;
- for customers treated as tax-exempt based on their tax number, where no different gross amount is calculated.
This prevents identical prices from appearing twice and keeps the product page clear.
Custom labels and appearance
The labels displayed before the gross and net prices can be edited freely, for example:
- “Net price:”
- “Gross price (VAT included):”
Dedicated CSS classes allow the appearance of the additional price to be adjusted to match the store theme.
No template modifications required
The module uses PrestaShop’s standard price display hook. It does not override PrestaShop or theme PHP files and does not require manual template modifications.
On the product page, the complementary price is displayed after PrestaShop’s native “VAT included” or “VAT excluded” label, preserving the original structure of the price block.
When changing themes, no previous template modifications need to be reapplied, provided that the new theme uses PrestaShop’s standard price block and hook.

- Upload and install the module through the PrestaShop back office.
- Review or edit the gross and net price labels.
- Enable display on product pages, product listings or both.
- Save the settings – no product-by-product configuration is required.
Updates, licence and support
Each licence is valid for one online store and includes one year of updates and support. Updates are installed by Webstart Updater from digitally signed packages.
The module does not transmit customer data. For licence validation, it sends only the module version and the store domain to the licence server.
